Chantale Pamplin resigning from her role as PAC Co-Chair

The PAC Executive would like to extend our sincere thanks to Chantale for the planning, positive energy, expertise, and enthusiasm she has offered to PAC with her leadership. Chantale Pamplin has let the PAC Exec team know that she is going on a long-term leave from her work in health care leadership, having been recently diagnosed with Myasthenia Gravis.  She has chosen to share the background on it, to help both explain and forecast where she's at-- http://www.ninds.nih.gov/disorders/myasthenia_gravis/detail_myasthenia_gravis.htm).
One of the key factors in managing this auto-immune disorder is taking time to recalibrate the body's systems.  She describes it as one of the "lesser evil" neuromuscular disorders...we hope this time off work will allow her to rest and recover. With this new lifestyle, she assures us that she is well, despite having to undergo these lifestyle alterations!  While auto-immune disorders are very demanding, she wants to be clear that she is ok and making these changes for her short-term, and long-term, health.
We wish her the best!
